Cervical Stenosis occurs during the aging process and causes the spinal canal to narrow in the neck. This occurs in many people who never become aware of it. But in some it can cause pressure on the nerves, which then in turn may cause weakness in the arms and shoulders, balance issues and incontinence. It can be treated with medication and proper exercise. Although severe cases may require a decompression surgery or fusion.
